Erskine Park High School, as one of a select few high schools, received a Western Sydney Regional Award of Excellence in Literacy in recognition of the school's highly successful literacy program. This prestigious honour is a tribute to the inspirational teaching and learning in the school.
Above State Average Ella Test Results
The students of Erskine Park High School have achieved the most outstanding ELLA (English Language and Literacy Assessment) results for 2007. For the first time at the school, our Year 7 results were above State average for this public examination. In Year 8, the most outstanding improvement was made to get extremely close to State average.
Mr McCallum would like to share this tremendous news with all parents and thank them for their energetic efforts to keep literacy at the forefront of their children’s daily lives. As we well appreciate, much groundwork and reinforcement starts at home. In the end the strong work by our teachers, supported by parent efforts has made our student success simply outstanding. By way of summary, the following results were received for the test:

38% of students (68 students) received a HIGH literacy rating
52% of students (93 students) received a PROFICIENT literacy rating

46% of students (85 students) received a HIGH literacy rating
